Friday Night Blogging

So it only took me 2 days to write something....Friday night I am at home, exhaused from the week and watching the Wisconsin/Davidison game - that was a shocker - but good for the little guy.
My Friday Nights used to consist of driving to an National Guard Armory somewhere in Georgia, working a double (two shows in one night) with my partner in crime Homicide. We would book it work an early match in Griffin and jump in the van and head to Good Ol Days to finish out the evening - we used to have a lot of fun in those days. Most of the time we would land in a town with eager "wrestling fans" who had worked all week - just wanted to bring their family out a the "Rasslin Show" for a family good time. It was the way the guy who was busting ass all day in a ditch could give people like me a lot of shit and enjoy a night out with the family.
I hope to bring many stories of my tails of the road...
I am trying to finally put all of my old Wrestling stuff on DVD's and will share some vids on here - I have some great stuff from the 90's Wrestling in Atlanta - War Zone Wrestling, IWU, ECW, and some self shot stuff. Lets see if I can figure this blogger thing out!
Anyway - have been working out - 3 days in a row now - it's a start - and 1 month smoke free. I not only look like the outta shape Rocky Balboa back in 79' but I can feel my self "getting stronger"
It's been a long spring break - why is when we were kids we couldn't wait for it but as we are adults it's a nightmare? This has been a long week - no school - keeping away from public places - yesterday I was digging for things to do! I decided on pulling all of the blankets from the house and Maxing a fort with Max and Zoey. Today - shots for both of them - both of them toughed it out....but Zoey not even a flinch! She is a tough little cookie. You have gotta be tough to wear pants like that! Thanks Tiff!
Headed to Monster Trucks tomorrow night with Max - yeah not a huge fan myself but the things we try and do with our kids. We had to buy headphones for Max so the roaring of the Monster Trucks won't blow his eardrums out! Should be fun! I will try and report on in next time!
One cool thing I did for myself today is got this program from paint.net - it rocks and most of all it's free!
This is a picture I did with Max today. It's a Flower Sprite from The Spiderwick Chronicles...It's his favorite movie right now and his world has become everything Spiderwick - it's very cool - the first time he has been "really" into something. I was amazed that he still plays with his Spiderwick Mcdonald's toys - not like the other ones that you just hate to throw out because maybe they might look for that one someday! Ahhh the guilt associated with being a parent!
