Here we go... 3/25 (The Lost Post)

This was supposed to be my original first post...I couldn't figure out how to post things and thought I had lost it!

I guess you can say I am a bit camera shy...I hate having my picture taken - except when I used to command the air-waves as a wrestling announcer/promoter down in the ATL back in the 90's.

Nothing big - A legend to myself, the 15 loyal fans who would come to our wrestling shows and maybe the few hundred that watched on Channel 34 and Public Access. Don't get me wrong...I did have several "high points' of my career and was fortunate to wrestle for thousands of people, met guys that I looked up to as a kid, met guys who are superstars today, and created some friendships with people I will talk to the rest of my life!

When I was a kid - I used to watch the AWA (American Wrestling Association) it was back in 1979 but I remember it like it was yesterday. Sitting in my bedroom - propping up the antenna on the old black and white and watching classic wrestling characters that made me want to get into the business. Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, Da Crusher, Da Brusier, The High Flyers, The Road Warriors, Sargent Slaughter, Buck Zumhoff, Baron Von Raschke, Bobby The Brain...ahh I could go on forever...and I will someday...

Here I sit on the computer, watching CNN, I am beat and exhausted from a day with the kids. Being a stay at home dad means that I do have a boarderline case of OCD keeping the house clean ...I do the dishes, I change diapers, I clean pee off the toilet seat, I make 30 meals a day...but the coolest thing is I get to stay home and watch my kids grow up in front of me everyday!
